Hilo Love Cloud

Nothing says Hilo like a little rain!...well, it's usually more like a LOT of rain (haha!), but that's life in Hilo and we wouldn't have it any other way!

This "Hilo Love" cloud was one of our OG MaruMaru Hawaii designs and it has kinda become what we're known for. And if you're from Hilo or have been to Hilo, you know why!

Hilo is known for it's rain...drizzling rain...torrential pouring rain...random shower rain...non-stop all day, all night rain...we get it all! The absolute best is falling asleep to rain on your metal roof...or waking up to rain on the weekend and going straight back to sleep.

After I became a mom though the rain was a bit more annoying. haha! Packing up your baby for a day at the park, only to get there and it's torrential pouring. And always having to have backup plans "in case rain". And always gotta bring tents "in case rain". And always gotta bring umbrella "in case rain". haha!

But no matter what, the Hilo rain is something we all love and appreciate. And it just represents HOME.
