What's with the black tees?
Well, it started off as more of a practical thing. Our kids drooled (a lot) and being a small self-financed start-up business, we couldn't afford to carry tons of inventory, so we tried to pick a shirt color that was unisex.
Gray would have been our first pick, but it totally shows drooly wet spots, so black it was! And while most people don't think of black tees for kids, it's actually super cute! And the best part is you don't have to worry about spills and stains! Woot woot!
Sometimes we add in other color options or different styles when we do larger pop-ups (tanks, onesies, sweatshirts, etc), but on a regular basis black + white has kinda become our thang!
What material and sizes are your tees?
We went through a long process of purchasing sample shirts from various manufacturers. After much deliberation, we decided on 100% cotton jersey for our tees. Most of them are 4.5oz so it's ultra soft and stretchy, providing ultimate comfort for your little ones.
We started off with only infant and toddler tees sizes 6mo - 4T. But then customers started asking for adult versions of our shirts. So we added in some mens tees...then some womens tops...then trucker hats, tote bags, stickers, zip pouches, and more! And now we even carry youth sizes because MaruMaru Hawaii has to grow along with our kids! haha!
How often do you reprint designs?
That's a tough question to answer. Sometimes designs are a one-time print. Sometimes we end up reprinting a particular design dozens of times. We always tell people that if you really like something, the safest bet is to buy it when you see it, because there's always a chance the design will go to the MaruMaru 'archives' and will never be seen again. haha!
We also don't like to keep a lot of inventory throughout the year. It doesn't make sense for us since we don't have a retail space. So we usually only reprint right before we're doing a pop-up. And the larger the event, the more we print!

Do you offer shipping?
We have offered shipping in the past, but its been difficult to keep up with online orders. So most times we only offer Hilo pickup OR you can come see us in person at the pop-up and say HI! :)
What is your return/exchange policy?
Updated May 2018 - Unfortunately we are changing our policy to NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we have had too many bad experiences with used/washed merchandise being exchanged. Mahalo for your understanding!
