HILO Baseball Laser Engraved Patch Hat (limited edition)
Growing up we didn't have any brothers, or even very many boy cousins our age, so sports wasn't a part of our lives growing up. We didn't play sports or even watch sports on TV. But having boys of our own has sure made up for it!
Our kids have been playing baseball on and off (cause covid) since Brody was 4 years old. Tball was the absolute BEST! Brody and Kai actually got to play on the same team for one season and it was so much fun watching Kai play in the dirt and run the opposite direction! haha! Mia even tried baseball, but she lasted two practices before she decided she didn't want to get hit by the ball...and that ended her baseball 'career' forever! haha!
We now have Brody playing bronco (12U), Kai playing mustang (10U) and Koa playing coach-pitch (8U). Three different age groups and three different teams means a whole LOT of baseball practices, games, fundraisers and concessions for our family! It's absolutely craaazy!
And while we still don't know a lot about the game itself, we appreciate the strong bonds of the baseball community in Hilo. We have met so many wonderful families through this game, and while the baseball might not last forever, the memories and friendships will!
